FoodProductionDaily.com caught up with Patrick Dowling of SPX Flow Technology at IPA 2010 to talk about the company’s strategies for acquisition and sector growth.

In a wide-ranging interview, the firm’s global food and beverage vice president said future purchases in the centrifugal separation sector and possible entry into the packaging and filling industries could plug gaps in SPX's current portfolio.

He also discussed how the global engineering equipment producer has earmarked the need to meet burgeoning demand for food and brewing technology in emerging markets as a key area of growth.
